Dr. Robert L. Lawson is currently a full-time motivational, inspirational, empowerment speaker whose most requested keynote address for teachers and students all across the United States of America is Destined for Greatness. He is a highly requested presenter for keynote addresses, conferences, seminars, workshops at the elementary, high school and collegiate level for both adults and youth. Dr. Lawson has also presented for many social service organizations, businesses and churches. His primary desire is to see, touch and inspire the hearts of people, making them aware of their worth and value to themselves and to others.  He has spent 48 years in the field of education as a classroom teacher. He began his career as a classroom instructor at Gallia Academy High School in Gallipolis, Ohio where he served as an instructor of Jr. High English for four years before moving on to Marshall University where he served as the Director of Continuing Education and an adjunct faculty member for 13 years. Then, he began work at Shawnee State University and served as the Director of Continuing Education for 7 years. 
After working as a consultant through his company, Dynamic Professionals for 8 years, he returned to the classroom to teach English and speech at Georgetown Jr-Sr. High School for 9 years. He went on to teach English and speech at Chillicothe High School for 4 years and then spent 2 years teaching grades 7-12 at the Ohio Valley Christian School in Gallipolis, Ohio. In addition, Dr. Lawson served as the Head Track Coach at Gallia Academy High School and built a high quality championship track team, served as the Affirmative Action at Marshall University, served as an adjunct faculty member at Shawnee State University, Ohio University Chillicothe and Ohio University Zanesville where he developed and taught courses and workshops on leadership training and development, motivational empowerment, changing your thinking, guarding against sexual harassment, diversity, making effective presentations, achieving excellence in the classroom for teachers and so much more. 
Dr. Lawson is a graduate of the University of Rio Grande, Marshall University and Nova Southeastern University. At Marshall University, he was a member of the President’s Cabinet, has been inducted into the University of Rio Grande’s Athletic Hall of Fame, set the long jump record there that stood for 20 years, was recognized as a University of Rio Grande distinguished alumnus and has currently authored 17 books with more on the horizon. He currently resides in Portsmouth, Ohio with his wife Debbie. Dr. Lawson is the proud father of 3 sons, Robert, James and Michael.
